Rainwater Tanks
Angle Dissemination Pivot (ADP)
Bushranger Water Tanks innovative design has led to the revolutionary self-supporting ADP roof for our Rural range of rainwater tanks / water tanks. With a patented design, we have overcome the occupational health and safety issues associated with internal support poles and created Australia’s first polyethylene tank with a domed roof and a diameter greater than four metres.
Dual Access Hatch
In line with Bushrangers commitment to ‘water storage made easy’ our ranges of Urban and Rural water storage tanks are manufactured with dual access hatches as a standard feature. The benefit of two access hatches is that it offers greater flexibility when installing the rain water tank / water tank, as the basket filter can easily be interchanged from one hatch to the other. This means that the alternative hatch will always provide clear access to the water tank / rainwater tank for maintenance and inspection without having to disturb existing pipe-work.

Flow-through Barrel Filter
In addition to the standard basket filter fitted to all rain water tanks / water tanks, Bushranger Water Tanks have a secondary low maintenance, stainless steel, flow-through barrel filter. The flow-through barrel filter is designed to reduce maintenance and ensure a fail-safe system that will divert water to the overflow if the filter becomes blocked. The flow-through barrel filter allows environmental particles to be flushed over the tank’s water inlet and through the overflow, providing a consistent water stream from the connected downpipes and resulting in less ongoing maintenance being required.
The flow-through barrel filter adds a great deal of flexibility to the water storage unit, doubling as a ‘high capacity’ 200mm overflow when using the standard basket filter. The Bushranger filter configuration system is flexible, to suit customer needs, and makes purchasing a Bushranger water tank / rain water tank a hassle-free experience.

Flexibility - The luxury of RIO
Bushrangers innovative reversible inlet/overflow
(RIO) filtration system has provided a great level of
flexibility in installation.
The RIO system is the combination of a traditional
basket filter and a Bushranger flow-through barrel
filter. The RIO is installed as standard on all
Bushranger tanks except the modular system.
The RIO system allows for a number of alternative
configurations including an overflow combination
(up to 200mm), which allows the installation of
multiple downpipes via the basket filter, or
just simply more effective placement. The RIO
system allows each customer to use the best
combination to suit their own personal needs and
maintenance program.
The combination of a traditional basket filter
with our flow-through barrel filter/overflow
means the installation options are only limited
by your imagination.

Connect your single downpipe and overflow pipe
to the flow-through barrel filter, using the benefits
of this low maintenance filtration system.
The RIO Option A allows an inlet capacity of
100mm and an equal overflow capacity of 100mm.
Best suited for small roof areas.

Connect your single downpipe via the
traditional basket filter and your overflow pipe
via the flow-through barrel filter. The overflow
direction can be modified to use either side of
the flow-through barrel filter.
The RIO Option B allows an inlet capacity of
100mm and an equal overflow capacity of 100mm. |

Connect multiple downpipes via the basket filter
using the flow-through barrel filter as a high
capacity 200mm overflow.
The RIO Option C allows an inlet capacity of up to 200mm and an equal overflow capacity of 200mm. |

Tank Configurations
All Domestic, Urban and Rural Bushranger rain water tank / water tank configurations are based on a clock dial as set out below.

The RIO filtration system is installed at 12 o’clock as standard on all Domestic, Urban and Rural Bushranger rain water tanks / water tanks. The basket filter is interchangeable with the dual access hatch on Urban and Rural models
The secondary access hatch is
installed at 6 o’clock on Urban and
Rural models. The secondary access
hatch allows flexible installation of
the basket filter and position of
the overflow.
All rainwater tanks in the Domestic range are manufactured with spinweld outlets at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock for greater flexibility.
Environmental Colour Range
Bushranger Water Tanks come in a variety of environmental colours; each of
our colours is a close representation of the industry standard colours
commonly used in housing developments.
